Monthly Favorites #27 | October'21
Personal Favorites Here are my personal favorites of October, that were not part of any kind of art challenges of this year (to my knowledge). A special feature will dive deeper into this year's challenge pieces. You can find it here. An underrated artist feature I recently stumbled across Lercio4life 's art and I was shocked that his excellent work goes quite unseen. There is a wide variety of (darker) themes, styles and media in his work, and no matter, what subject, the execution is always superb. I'm especially a fan of the use of shape, which creates the perfect balance of calmness and dynamic in an art noveauish way. Please take a look for yourself and stroll through his gallery :) Suggestions by commentators And here are some further suggestions by… … @FlyinFreak … and @LualaDy Thanks again for the awesome suggestions! If you know some artists or artworks that could benefit from more exposure, let me know in the comments :)

MY ART/SNIPPETS “I don't understand,” she said. “What are you, then?” Orion held the iron still, but didn't let it go. “I am not sure either. At certain moments, like now, I seem alive. I have a body and interact with the world like every other person can. At others times, I am thinner than air. I can still sense things, but that's it; nobody can see me, hear me, or touch me. I’m a ghost.” ART FEATURE LAST WEEK'S @EleynahTheArtless Nathaemis, who had dozed off a bit during the ride, almost fell from his sibout lynx when Greg started barking madly in the distance. **** Still a bit dazed, Nathaemis let the grandmaster do most of the coordinated walking, though when he realised they dragged him straight towards the battlefield, it was too late to regain control over his steps. SHARE YOUR ART/SNIPPETS AND BE FEATURED IN NEXT WEEK'S JOURNAL!

Dear Journal, COMMUNITY FOR A CAUSE!
WOW! We are just 500 Cat drawings away from raising 10 Thousand Dollars for the Humane Society. We have 3 days to get there and I know we can. This Tutorial, this effort is the highlight of my time working here. I love coming together to do GOOD and if we achieve this 5k submission goal we will have an opportunity to raise money and awareness for another cause. It is a true privilege to be a creator for the vibrant art community here on DeviantArt and becoming a part of the community has been the most fulfilling work experience. That said I am calling out all my DA peoples to help us achieve this 10 thousand dollar goal.
